Wow.
July 3rd, 2004Wow. Last night was so much fun. Here are the details:
I drove the Volvo downtown, cause I thought Erin ()and Benson ()were coming with Pam and I to the Cake Concert. No no, Benson and Erin dropped out. Wow.
So it is 6:30 and I am betting that Pam is a no-show. Mainly because I am nerddom and…well…Kevin said she was a no show.
6:45 rolls around and guess who shows up…none other then Pam. OMG!1!!one!!won!! Wow.
So I change in the cafe and stash my work clothes (yuck) @ work. Awkwardness begins here.
Pam and I end up walking to the point where cake was playing. Due to Mike’s recommendations on Cake, I was like “please someone call and tell me I have to leave.” But no one did.
So we chilled for a while then she was like “lets play hacky.” And me being the soccer hater that I am, I was like “Ah crap I can’t play hack.” Well I watched them play hack and her take pictures of some guys ass and stuff like that.
So Cake starts to play. I am like “Hoollyy Cowwww” they are better then Mike said.
Right then, Benson () aim’s my phone and is like “hey chicken fucker where the hell are you??” I replied: “I ended up going to the conert. Pam is amazing.” She ended up reading it. I thought I was sunk.
Anyways we ended up going to South Side after the concert. It was cool. I really liked the “Beehive.”
So after that she was like “lets go back to your place and watch mitch.” I was like “WHOA! OKAY!” Mainly because Mitch Hedberg makes me soil my pants. So we watch Mitch Hedberg and then mike is like “lets go to steak and shake.”
Now realize that our “Pittsburgh Mom” is a night server at steak and shake. Taking anyone there is scary. She is like the oracle from the matrix. Anyways, I think Pam got scared. And Benson was an ass. But we all know he was just being funny…except Pam didn’t know that…soooo he looked like an ass. After visiting the OrAcLe, we left and retured here, in which we layed on Patrick’s bed and talked till 5:00, and I dozed off.
DAMNIT! WHY DID I FALL TO SLEEP.!!!!
So I wake up and, no, its not all a dream, Pam is still at my apartment, on the couch. Amazing. So we lay around until 10, 10:30, and we leave to take her home.
So we stop at Bruggers (sp?) bagels in Oakland. It was good. And I parallel parked successfully for the first time. Wow.
We are almost to Pam’s house, and guess who calls the celly. None other then Pam’s mom. Wow. Damnit.
But Pam is not in trouble and I guess everything is good…best night I have had in Pittsburgh, possibly ever. Wow. Wow. Wow.
