Desks and Tour Dê Midwest
May 9th, 2006Between the wonderful people at IKEA in Chicago [Boilingbrook, to be exact] and my roomates who are driving to se Sigur Ros tonight, I am getting a new desk for myself. It will be a hell of a lot better than the setup I have now, me sitting on the floor with my back against the wall, feet propped up on the moniter, everything on the floor around me. Oh, the joys of moving.
This weekend was the most amazing weekend I’ve had in a long time. I went with Sarah to her mom’s house in Indinapolis on Friday. I met her cousin [and best friend] Jason and his wife Sarah. They were really cool, I’m glad I had the chance to finally meet them. Lots of talks of 18 inch bananas and graduation. We hung around the house, watched a movie and crashed early in the morning [as compared to late at night.] The next day we drove to Columbus to see Sarah’s sister get all dressed up for Prom. She had some goon date, whom we quickly named ‘lampshade.’ We left the awkwardness of High School Proms, and headed for Dayton. I got to see my family for a bit, then headed back to indy. Sunday we drove back to Warsaw. We enjoyed the company of Mark and Becca Gypson, with a bonfire and some Evening Beverages [no, it’s not updated.] More later, as always, including before and after pictures of my office, as well as some teaser pictures of the kitchen.
Much love.
