A Haiku by Andrew B. Clark

Summertimes.
The windows are open
Do you feel that breeze?
It’s not the wind.

Sadly, the end of summer is in sight, and, with the need for an update mixed properly with school starting in 9 days, I bring you: Summer Wrap up.

This summer was enjoyable, living in the Winona Lake, pushing food at Mad Anthony’s, making friends at work, doing freelance.  So on, so fourth.

I became a server this summer, and I have enjoyed that.  I make almost double what I did as a cook, and it’s allowing me to save up to buy a macbook on macbook day with Brother Benson. Enjoyable.

The only major injury I had was when I put my arm through a window.  10 staples, including 8 on my right forearm.  That experience was a lot less painful than I figured it would be, and I am confident that if I ever do have to get staples again, I can take them out with needlenose pliers.

I have a new addiction.  Ogame.  [ http://www.ogame.org. ]  It’s pretty much for nerds only, and if you fit that name, look me up in Universe 22.  Ogame is like StarCraft [which is a computer game like StarWars, which is a movie about space invasions.] but without the graphics.  You make decisions and construct buildings and attack compadres.  It’s rather enjoyable.

My other new addiction is a frothy beverage.  Iced Tea.  I am drinking iced tea like it’s not available tomorrow.  Oh man, do I love it or what.

Disclaimer: I turn 21 next week, and with the advent of my 21st birthday, I am both not excited and discouraging all forms of parties and gifts.

School in 9 days.  Yipee.  Enjoy the rest of summer, lovers.
