Complete Overhaul
October 2nd, 2006Complete overhaul and first post in almost 2 months. Way to go, Andy.
It’s officially job hunting season, and with the advent of sending out my first professional-job-seeking-resume, I decided to overhaul my blog by stripping it down to the basics. With a little help from Azeem Azeez, I bring you the newest edition of isthatandy.com.
Portfolio is printed and bound. That is a load off my shoulders. I feel like I have been working on that silly thing for months upon months, when really it’s only been a few weeks. Business cards are in the print shop, they will be pressed this week. Furthermore, Apple shipped my iPhoto books, so they should be here Wednesday, or if I’m lucky, tomorrow. Horray for productivity. Now I just have to print my resume about 500 times, send that out, and hope and pray for a job.
Daddy Dollars and his possee, including but not limited to: The Bug Man, Lisa, Leah, and Lacey, were up this weekend. We had a good ole’ cookout complete with 12 pounds of ribs and two whole chickens. Delicious. I was happy to have Mark, Bekah, Corey, and Alex out for the day, and I think they had a good time.
It’s approaching midterms (volume 4, chapter 1) already, and I am not prepared, once again. It always seems to sneak up on me and sort of kick me in the pants. I need to write an artificial intelligence program that is…better…than anyone else’s int he class. Good luck to me.
Lately I have been on a Facebook kick, updating everything from quotes, to photos, to status on a more than daily basis. I don’t really know why all the sudden I fancy Facebook, but I have been enjoying it.
It’s almost 12:30, I suppose I will talk to Sarah and then crash for the night. Good night, good friends.

I like the new blog… simple, yet crisp. I too have become more addicted to facebook as of late…mostly because my sister has not yet attempted to join the myspace community…so, its my only form of communication with her. Anywho, sounds like youve got alot of things to be excited about with your portfolio all printed and ready to go. I thought it looked amazing, you should be proud. :) Im praying for you, Im sure God has something great waiting for you.
Have a beautiful day.

Good boy. I’m planning a roadtrip to your neck of the woods when I get a car back…did I tell you that puppy got stolen? True story. Here’s to Pittsburgh.
